Help with RUZGAR
Find your way around Community, manage what you share, and get help with rides and Places. Your private journal and sharing choices stay separate.
Find and share
Community
What is Community for?
Community brings together riders, their chosen public or follower-shared posts, and riding activity linked to Places. It is not a live location tracker. A ride in your private journal does not appear there just because you saved it.
Explore CommunityWhat is the difference between Discover, Feed, and Activity?
Discover helps you find riders, Places, and deliberately shared rides on a map. Feed shows posts from all riders or people you follow. Activity shows broader community trends and privacy-protected totals. It does not show who is riding right now.
What do All rides, Local riders, and Riding seasons show?
All rides maps eligible public sessions at their shared named Place, never at a private launch. You can filter by sport, year, and month. Local riders shows riders who identify a Place or broad area as local, not everyone who has ridden there and not their current position. Riding seasons combines historical shared activity for a selected month across available years. It is not a forecast.
How do I appear in Local riders?
Open Edit Profile, add a RUZGAR Place under Where you ride, set its Connection to Local rider, and leave List my profile at this Place checked. Select Save changes. Your profile must also be Public to appear in Local riders.
This is a self-declared connection to a named Place, not your live position or exact launch. Logging a ride, saving a Place, or entering a broad riding region does not list you automatically. If the Place is missing, mark an approximate area on the map. That can appear in Local riders, but it does not become a reviewed Place.
Edit rider profileWhy is my Feed empty?
Check whether you selected Following or All riders. Following needs a signed-in account and riders you follow. All riders shows public posts, but there may not be a new post yet. A saved ride is not automatically a Feed post.
What is the difference between a ride, a post, and a Rider Note?
A ride is your journal entry. You choose its audience and location separately. A post is a photo, video link, caption, or selected ride summary you choose to share in the Feed. A Rider Note is a dated, first-hand observation attached to a Place. Rider Notes are community observations, not reviewed guide facts.

Rides and posts
How do I attach a ride journal entry to a post?
Save the ride first with Log a ride. Then open Create post. Under Add context, choose it from Add a session and select the details you want to include. A Post never logs a new ride.
The Post has its own audience. Attaching a ride does not copy its location, route, journal, photo, or media links. You can separately tag a reviewed Place, including one suggested from the ride. Deleting the Post does not delete the ride.
Create a postCan I add a location to a post without logging a ride?
Yes. You can tag a reviewed Place or Launch, or deliberately choose an exact point on the map. A point is visible to the Post's Followers or Public audience, and people in that audience can save it. It is labelled rider-shared, not a reviewed Place or a verified launch. No location is the default.
If you attach a session, you can separately tag a reviewed Place on the Post. The Post does not copy the session's location. Its Place tag is visible to the Post's audience, while the ride's own settings still control who can see its location. Tagging a Place does not reveal the ride's private launch.
What is the difference between ride media and a post?
Ride media belongs to that ride and follows its audience. It does not create a Feed post. A Post is a separate story, photo, or link with its own audience. It may reference a ride, but does not copy that ride's media.
Posts without a session still appear in the Community Feed. A public photo Post tagged to a reviewed Place may also appear in its rider gallery. A Post never counts as a ride on All rides or in a Place's recent sessions.
What stays private when I log a ride?
Your complete ride stays in My Riding. New rides are Private by default. Sharing shows the details in the preview before Save ride. The GPS route, private journal, exact time, and detailed Gear Locker snapshot stay private. Ride media follows the ride audience. Some equipment details may appear in a shared ride, and a stay appears only if you choose to include it.
If you create a post from a ride, RUZGAR copies only the fields you deliberately select for that post.
Why can’t other people see my ride on my rider profile?
Three choices work independently. Set your rider profile to Public so other people can open it. Set the ride audience to Public for everyone, or Followers for people who follow you. Private keeps the ride in your private journal. Check that the ride is marked Published in your Riding journal. A public profile does not publish private rides, and a public ride does not open a private profile.
The third choice is location sharing. If you keep it hidden, people who can see the ride may see its summary as “Location withheld,” but no ride marker appears on your profile map. A public ride can still be opened through its own shared link even when your rider profile is not public.
Check profile visibilityCan I edit or delete a ride?
Yes. Open My riding, find the ride in your Riding journal, and open its three-dot menu. Choose Edit to change an eligible ride or Delete session to remove it. Some disputed or rejected rides cannot be edited from that menu.
Open Riding journalHow do I delete or correct one of my posts?
Open My posts, use the three-dot menu on the post, and choose Delete post. Its photo is removed, but any ride attached to it stays in your journal. There is no full post editor yet. To correct a published post, delete it and create a new one.

Rider Notes and reports
Do posts, Rider Notes, and Place photos wait for review?
No. A post publishes to the audience you chose. Rider Notes and Place photos appear publicly after a successful save. Riders can report concerns, and moderators can remove content. Suggestions for new Places and corrections to reviewed guides follow a separate review process.
Can I edit or delete my Rider Note?
Open the Place where you shared it and find your note under Rider notes & photos. Use the three-dot menu on your note to choose Edit note or Delete note. Deleting it removes it from public Place pages.
How do I remove a Place photo I shared?
Open the photo in that Place's Rider photos gallery. Choose Delete my photo and confirm. If the photo was the only content in its post, that empty post is removed too.
What if a Rider Note or post is misleading or inappropriate?
Sign in and use the report control on that specific note or post. Choose a reason such as Misleading information, Dangerous or unsafe claim, spam, or harassment. Add a short explanation if it would help the moderator.
A report is private and goes to moderation. It does not automatically delete the content. For a factual error in a reviewed guide, use Suggest update or Improve this guide instead.

How do I delete my account?
Open My riding, then Settings. Scroll to the Danger zone and choose Delete my account. Confirm with the phrase and your current password. No Admin approval is needed for an ordinary rider account.
The service removes uploaded media, sign-in data, and owner-linked records, then checks completion. If it cannot finish or an exceptional hold applies, contact privacy support. Provider backup expiry is not yet verified.
The atlas
Places and local knowledge
Log a ride could not find my spot. What should I do?
Search for a RUZGAR Place, city, village, or country to move the map near the right area. Choose Choose launch on mapto mark a private launch area. If a reviewed Place already exists, you can link it in the ride form without saving a launch point.
If no reviewed Place matches, mark your launch on the map and choose None of these match. You can add local names before saving. The point remains private unless you deliberately choose to share it.
Log a rideWhy is my riding spot missing from Places, and how can it be added?
Places are added after their name, geography, and duplicates have been checked. A launch pin or a single ride does not create a public Place automatically, so some real riding spots will not be listed yet.
Open Share information and choose the missing Place path. Mark a point or a rough water outline, choose what you are adding, and provide the common name, country, and nearest town or region. A supporting map or official link is optional.
The submission enters review so duplicate names and geography can be checked before anything becomes a canonical public Place. You do not need to wait for that review before logging your ride.
Suggest a missing PlaceCan I share a rider note before a full Place exists?
Yes. Start a Rider Note and use Suggest a missing Place when the location is not available. Your first-hand, dated note and the Place proposal can be reviewed together.
You can also suggest a missing Place directly. An Admin checks its identity before a basic riding-area page appears. Riders can then add notes and deliberately shared sessions without waiting for a full researched guide. A basic page does not verify access or safety.
Share a Rider NoteHow do I correct information about a Place?
Use Suggest update or Improve this guide for a correction to reviewed guide information. Use a Rider Note for a dated, first-hand observation such as current conditions, access, crowds, or a local tip.
Report a community note or photo from its own card when the issue is spam, abuse, misleading information, or unsafe content. These paths stay separate so a changing observation does not silently replace a reviewed fact.
