El Médano is Tenerife’s most concentrated wind-and-foil town, with a walkable school cluster and several distinct coastal areas. The main bay and El Cabezo should not be treated as the same level of water.

Windsurf and kite programme context
DPC Tenerife publishes beginner through advanced windsurf and kite tuition, plus separate equipment rental. Beginner windsurf lessons can move from South Bay to Playa Chica at low tide or Granadilla harbour when South Bay is choppy. That conditional teaching arrangement is not a flat-water promise for kite lessons or independent rental. Year-round opening is not a best-season assessment.
