Bulabog is Boracay’s east-coast wind-sports beach. Current operators document kite and wingfoil activity, while tide, reef clearance, boats, and active environmental management make a same-day local briefing important.

Conditions & water

Seasonal trade-wind operation
Habagat publishes its main operating season as November through March. This is an operator season, not a daily wind guarantee. Sources: Habagat Kiteboarding Center · Bulabog services and season.
•••
Tide changes usable depth
The wingfoil operator describes a reef-backed, tide-sensitive lagoon and asks riders to check depth and the marked channel. Do not infer foil clearance from the beach map. Sources: Kloud Wingfoil · Boracay riding and tide briefing.

How map references work

A point can mark a useful access, business, or approximate area reference. It does not establish a legal riding-zone boundary, guaranteed launch, safe depth, or current access permission.

The point orients the named OpenStreetMap beach and the government monitoring reference used in the sourcebook.

Access & safety

Reef, boats, and tide need a local briefing
Operator guidance identifies tide-dependent depth, a reef, and a channel used to pass the reef. The guide does not publish a safe self-launch or universal foil route. Sources: Kloud Wingfoil · Boracay riding and tide briefing.
•••
Environmental oversight is active context
DENR reporting places Boracay within a Water Quality Management and Conservation Area and identifies Bulabog as a major wind-sports asset. That does not establish current water quality; check current government notices locally. Sources: DENR Environmental Management Bureau · Western Visayas report.
•••

Not a live safety service. Recheck local notices, closures, access, weather, and water conditions before every session.

Plan the trip

Use the named east-coast beach
Bulabog is distinct from Boracay’s west-coast White Beach. Arrange equipment and the day’s meeting point with a Bulabog operator rather than navigating to the destination centre. Sources: Boracay destination guide · windsurf and kitesurf context, Habagat Kiteboarding Center · Bulabog services and season.
•••
Windsurf and kite programme context
Habagat publishes beginner through advanced kite tuition and certified-rider equipment hire at Bulabog. It identifies November to March for Bulabog’s main kite season and distinguishes this from the southwest-monsoon operation on White Beach. Its reef-sheltered flat-water description is not a measured depth or a guarantee across tides. Sources: Habagat · Bulabog kite teaching, season and rental · checked 16 October 2026.
